Duties
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate retail products or financial services
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management software
- Handle cash drawer operations, including balancing at shift end and maintaining accurate cash handling records
- Assist with retail store tasks such as inventory management, data entry, and stock replenishment
- Perform retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and financial transactions with precision
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with stocking the back, packing up orders for delivery, and possibly helping with deliveries
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or banking is highly preferred; retail store experience is a plus
- Strong basic math skills and proficiency in retail math calculations
- Experience with data entry and processing cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of financial software systems used for cash management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash drawer operations, cashiering duties, and cash handling responsibilities confidently
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Must be able to lift heavy boxes
