Job Overview
PRISA Hospitality is seeking an organized, service-driven, and detail-oriented hospitality professional to support the opening and ongoing operations of the dual-branded Hampton by Hilton San Juan and Homewood Suites by Hilton San Juan.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating on-property marketing, public relations, and reputation management initiatives that support the hotel's business objectives, revenue goals, and guest experience. This position serves as the primary liaison between the hotel and the PRISA Hospitality Marketing team, assisting with marketing campaigns, social media engagement, online reputation management, media and influencer visits, promotional events, and day-to-day marketing activities.
The Marketing Coordinator works closely with hotel leadership and operations to ensure all marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with Hilton brand standards.
Principal Responsibilities
Marketing & Public Relations
· Coordinate the execution of all on-property marketing initiatives in partnership with the PRISA Hospitality Marketing team.
· Serve as the primary liaison between hotel operations and the Corporate Marketing team.
· Coordinate media visits, influencer stays, photography sessions, promotional events, and public relations opportunities.
· Assist with the execution of promotional campaigns supporting guestrooms, food & beverage outlets, meetings, and special events.
· Help develop local marketing opportunities and community partnerships that enhance the hotel's visibility.
· Ensure all marketing materials, signage, and communications comply with Hilton brand standards.
Social Media & Reputation Management
· Assist with monitoring and responding to guest comments and messages across social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
· Monitor online guest reviews and prepare thoughtful, brand-appropriate responses.
· Coordinate with hotel departments to address guest feedback and ensure appropriate follow-up.
· Gather photos, videos, and guest experiences to support marketing campaigns and social media content.
· Monitor online reputation trends and communicate guest insights to hotel leadership.
Administrative & Operational Support
· Maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and promotional schedules.
· Coordinate marketing requests from hotel departments and ensure timely completion.
· Support the Sales, Operations, and Food & Beverage teams with marketing initiatives and promotional needs.
· Maintain an organized inventory of marketing collateral, branded materials, and digital assets.
· Assist with vendor coordination, purchase requests, campaign reporting, and marketing administrative tasks.
· Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and hotel celebrations as assigned.
· Assist with pre-opening and opening marketing initiatives, including grand opening events, community outreach, and promotional activities.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, public relations, or a related field preferred.
· Hospitality experience is highly desirable.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
· Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Experience with social media platforms and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software is preferred.
Schedule Requirements
This position generally works a Monday through Friday schedule; however, flexibility is required to support hotel events, media visits, promotional activities, grand openings, holiday campaigns, and other marketing initiatives that may occur during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
