Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and grow long‑lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Expand the customer network through cold calling and proactive outreach
- Consult with customers to recommend appropriate epoxy products and solutions
- Contact customers regarding payments due on accounts and process payments to ensure receivables are current
- Meet and exceed sales targets by selling epoxy products and related materials
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth
- Accurately quote and consult on customer projects
- Research competitor products, pricing, and market conditions within the epoxy industry
- Maintain strong working knowledge of epoxy products and services; suggest new products to carry
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales
- Submit daily sales activity reports to the Sales Manager via email
- Assist with store‑level sales training sessions and epoxy product demonstrations, including setup and teardown
- Cover all store locations as required
- Maintain a professional environment in the shop and on social media
- Create and develop an online presence to market epoxy products
- Attend weekly sales meetings and ongoing sales training
Requirements
- Proven sales experience with the ability to upsell when opportunities arise
- Interest in or willingness to learn the epoxy industry and related products
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with POS systems, computer software, email, and social media platforms
- Strong product knowledge and ability to educate customers
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
- Professional demeanor in‑store and online
- Spanish/English speaking preferred
