Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. As a Truck Driver, you will operate various types of trucks including dry trailers or Amazon trailers, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of cargo transported.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be Green Card Holder or Citizen.
- Experience in truck driving with knowledge of route driving and delivery processes.
- Familiarity with various dry trailers is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
