Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care coordination team to ensure each client receives tailored services that enhance their quality of life. This is an on-site role, allowing you to build meaningful connections with those you care for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and companionship to clients based on their individual needs and preferences.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and adherence to medication schedules.
- Support with meal preparation and planning to meet dietary requirements.
- Engage clients in activities that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Document care services provided and communicate effectively with family members and the care coordination team.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Previous caregiving experience or relevant training in personal care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate attitude and desire to help others.
- Ability to respect client confidentiality and dignity.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
Bonus If You:
- Have first aid and CPR certification.
- Are bilingual, especially in Spanish.
- Possess additional certifications in caregiving or elderly care.

This is a Part-Time position with flexible hours available, including shifts across weekdays and weekends.
