We are currently seeking pre-licensed (LMSW, MFT, MHC).
Job Summary
The psychotherapist will provide direct clinical services, including individual, couple, and family therapy sessions. This position involves conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment and exit plans, facilitating client support groups, and maintaining clinical documentation in accordance with confidentiality and ethical standards. This role is part-time for the 90 days ranging from 18-20 hours/week. Full-time hours will start after the probation period and are 30 hours/week.
Therapists are encouraged to integrate various modalities into their practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, among others.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide weekly psychotherapy sessions to individuals, couples, and/or families.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.
- Administer pre- and post-assessments and share results with the supervising clinician.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive clinical community.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active New York State license (LMSW, MFT, MHC,).
- Experience working with individuals, couples, families, children, and/or adolescents.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort providing services both in person and via telehealth.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and clinical boundaries.
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance.
- Basic proficiency with Windows operating systems and electronic documentation.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or another language).
- Experience facilitating groups and/or providing crisis intervention.
Compensation and Benefits
- Paid onboarding and training (3–7 hours) prior to seeing clients.
- W-2 position with paid vacation, personal, and sick leave after 90 days of full-time employment.
