Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a passion for supporting patients in various healthcare settings.
Duties
As a Nurse, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring vital signs
- Documenting patient information accurately in EMR systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options
- Managing acute pain, conducting triage, and ensuring infection control practices are followed
- Participating in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning to home
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- RN License
- BLS and ACLS
- Proficiency in using healthcare software systems for medical documentation
- Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and NCQA standards is beneficial
- A positive attitude with patient care as the top priority
