DESCRIPTION: The City of Creedmoor is currently seeking a School Resource Officer to join our department. The Creedmoor Police Department consists of 22 full-time sworn law enforcement positions, 4 civilian personnel, and 6 part-time officers. The School Resource Officer will primarily focus on the safety and security of their assigned school.
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates must meet requirements including a current NC BLET Certification, and a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record. Selected candidates may be required to participate in an assessment board. Final candidate(s) will be required to submit to a comprehensive background investigation, medical and drug screening, and a psychological consultation.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE: The starting salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $55,368 - $67,233 but will be based on qualifications and experience. A take home vehicles will be assigned for officers who live within 30 miles of Creedmoor.
