Cabinet and Millwork engineers specializing in commercial casework and millwork build outs in but not limited to: Hospitals, Schools Offices and Medical Facilities.
This is a full time, in office position generally working regular week days from 7am until 3:30pm M-F with occasional OT as required.
Essential Functions:
Engineers need to be able to read blueprints, drawing, sketches or renderings and be able to accurately find, read and interpret specifications specific to each project in order to generate CAD drawings, and material requirements communicated to the corresponding Project Manager.
Engineers are expected to source materials, costs and communicate associated lead time with the sourced materials.
Engineers are required to track their time applied to each project functions, maintain digital and hard copy files in keeping with company policy. Engineers are expected to be on time, actively participate with the associated Project Manager to the overall successful conclusion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient in CAD drafting and schematics for millwork projects, with strong experience in blueprint interpretation and part sourcing.
- Familiarity with procurement cost analysis, material cost estimating, and coordination with suppliers.
- Core skills in CAD, drafting, and schematics; premium skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, 3ds Max, SketchUp, MicroStation, and related tools.
- Knowledge of construction plans, millwork fabrication processes, and interior design considerations.

Pay: $25.39 - $26.79 per hour
