Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Manage clean linens.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing various surfaces.
- Strong background in hospitality with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Experience in custodial work with knowledge of effective cleaning methods and equipment.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in hotel or residential settings is a plus.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Schedule
- This is a part-time position M,W, F 6am-2:30pm with the possibility of full-time in the future with rotating weekends.
- Vacation coverage as needed, so may require some weekends.
