Chemical Specialist/Inventory Cycle Counter
Job Description
- Accurately weighing raw materials, liquids, and solids.
- Storing, retrieving, kitting, and monitoring chemicals used in production.
- Verifying shelf life (expiration date) and mix ratios on material.
- Ensure correct labeling is on each container.
- Report any low inventory to planner.
- Verify scale is functional and calibrated daily.
- Verify temperature and humidity are within guidelines in room before kitting,
- Ensure proper use of PPE while handling any chemicals.
- Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or assigned part numbers and/or locations daily
- Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies
- Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations
- Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.
- Assist in stockroom duties as needed
- Other duties as required and assigned
Job Qualifications
- Prolonged standing, bending, squatting, sitting, pushing, pulling, reaching below knees, and reaching and
- lifting above shoulders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Natural born U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Speak English
- Ability to read and understand standard and metric units of measures
- Microsoft Excel – Basic
- Attention to detail
- Basic understanding and use of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding and comfort with inventory software.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
