American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Oncology unit night shift position requiring telemetry skills and the ability to manage higher patient ratios.

Hospital-based Medical/Surgical Oncology unit
-
Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
3x12-hour shifts preferred; 4x12-hour shifts will also be considered
-
Patient ratio is 1:6 or 1:7; experience with higher ratios is required
-
Block scheduling will be considered
-
EMR systems used are Cerner and Soarian
-
13-week assignment with possibility of extension
-
Active RN license — GA or Compact license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Telemetry experience required
-
IV start proficiency required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required

Oncology experience highly preferred
-
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered

Oncology-focused Med/Surg nursing care with a higher-acuity patient load
-
Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility

Candidates residing between 31–50 miles from the facility may be eligible at a different pay rate than those living farther away
-
Minimal time off (RTO) is expected for the duration of the assignment and must be disclosed upfront
