Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice team! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from initial consultation to post-treatment follow-up. Duties
- Welcome patients warmly, answer their questions, and provide detailed explanations of treatment options and procedures
- Coordinate appointment scheduling using patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Verify insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist patients with health insurance inquiries in compliance with health regulation policies
- Prepare treatment plans in collaboration with dentists and ensure patients understand their financial responsibilities
- Filling all Claims for new treatment
- Balance and maintain Insurance AR
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental office environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
- Knowledge of health regulation policies, health insurance procedures, and medical terminology to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Experience with patient management software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for efficient record keeping
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with accurate typing speed to manage multiple tasks effectively
