Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction by assisting with lesson implementation.
- Work directly with students with disabilities.
- Implement behavior management strategies and behavior support plans to promote positive student conduct.
- Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by observing student progress and collaborating with teachers and specialists.
- Manage classroom routines and maintain a safe, organized environment.
- Support students’ social-emotional growth.
- Monitor students during non-structured time such as lunch and recess.
- Provide childcare assistance during school hours, ensuring a nurturing environment for young children in preschool or early childhood programs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children or students with special education needs is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and curriculum development for diverse learners is advantageous.
- Private school experience or preschool experience involving early childhood education practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting children’s growth are essential qualities for success in this role.
