OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
Valicor Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Supervisor to work at out St. Louis, MO facility.
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the daily facility operations ensuring departmental safety, compliance and operational excellence.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities

Acts with integrity as it relates to safety, compliance, and operational effectiveness.

Plans the daily operation: including the scheduling of plant production to ensure optimal utilization of plant and equipment, personnel and inventory requirements.

Ensures personnel accountability with work procedures.

Assists and organize the work of employees in the daily inspection and maintenance of the plant to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions

Responsible for receiving, tracking, and material compliance.

Conducts (or oversees) laboratory analytical testing for product quality assurance/control and routine test.

Enters accurate and daily data into CRM (or equivalent system) for waste tracking, regulatory, and billing review.

Review and analyze inbound/new steams for complaint treatment and permit acceptability.

Verify and report suspected malfunctions and variances as directed and take corrective actions.

Participates in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion, and termination decisions.

Provide solid and proven leadership, training, team building and supervision to all employees at the plant in order to support the operational function of the business.

Coach, train, develop and mentor others.
Basic Requirements and Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Greater than two years of experience in supervising production employees, preferably in environmental services or similar industry.

Good knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations.

Previous experience in Waste Water Treatment (WWT), material handling or similar operations.

Able to provide strong leadership and mentorship to employees, both direct and indirect reports, to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Must exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills demonstrating a growth mindset.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Ability to analyze information and suggest improvements.

Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
