Description
Wild Laurel is a privately-owned golf course nestled in the Smoky Mountains providing a comprehensive beer and food menu for golfers and guests. Bartenders will be responsible for providing patrons with a memorable experience at Wild Laurel. They will be expected to uphold our highest standards of hospitality by being attentive, professional and efficient behind the bar at all times. They will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all product behind the bar.
Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to)
- Knowledge of a domestic and craft beers
- Sets-up and breaks-down various service areas as required
- Stocking and upkeep of various inventory points on property
- Maintains assigned bar or station to fit guests needs (i.e. pool, beverage cart, etc.)
- Assist in the operation of preparing food for guests
- Carries out specific tasks as assigned by management
- Support banquet and event catering with timely, high-quality beverage service
- Routinely cleans and maintains bar equipment, bar and clubhouse areas
- Knowledge of Wild Laurel Signature Beer Cocktails and extensive beer menu
- Must have good organizational and disciplined skills
- Must be able to remain calm under high pressure situations

· Ability to understand and receive instruction in English
· Works cooperatively with others in a team environment
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
· Approachable and warm demeanor that is detail oriented
· Ability to multi-task and work independently
· Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
· Regular and consistent attendance is required
Experience/Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-4 years of experience preferred
- Experience in the service industry and dealing with the general public
- Golf Course Bartending experience a plus
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to work long hours and be on feet for a long period of time
- Must be able to safely operate a golf cart
Work Environment
- Fast paced bar, dining room and kitchen areas
- 100 acres of Wild Laurel property
Work Schedule
· Part Time position
· Flexible days and hours including: evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation
· Hourly rate $15 per hour + tips
· Employee discounts for food/beverage (excl. alcohol) and other products
Must comply with all company policies and procedures
