We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored for 2-year-olds
- Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment through effective classroom management and toddler care techniques
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements to build strong partnerships
- Maintain detailed documentation of child progress, behavior management plans, and classroom activities in accordance with mandated reporting laws
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when appropriate
- Lead activities that promote physical education, fine motor skills, and cognitive growth aligned with early childhood education standards
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with toddlers aged 1-3 years
- Strong knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies
- Proficiency in curriculum development focused on early childhood education principles such as literacy education, math readiness, and social skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members using clear and compassionate language
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention practices, and childhood welfare policies
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during all activities
- Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus; familiarity with standardized testing or preschool assessment tools is advantageous
