The Atlantic Outboard Marine Group is looking for a Service Manager for our Portland Boat Works location in Portland, Connecticut.
Owned and operated by the Cusson family, Portland Boat Works is a leader for new and used boat sales, as well as service. We offer over 100,000sq ft of indoor winter storage, as well as slips on site.
We are looking for a Service Manager to help lead the service/storage side of the business, as well as day-to-day operations.

Schedule appointments for service and repair work.

Inspect every boat with the customer before work begins and note all findings on the repair order and accurately identify customer needs and document them while the customer is present.

Secure approval for repairs, including cost, timeline, payment method, and warranty, before starting work.

Review service records, inspect boats and motors, and recommend additional needed services and maintenance offerings.

Bill and collect payment from customers.

Complete and distribute repair paperwork according to department policy.

Maintain accurate and organized department service records, including repair order files.

Work with ownership to monitor and balance the daily workload in the service department

Schedule customer appointments efficiently and professionally.
