Overview
Join our vibrant bakery team as a prep and become a key contributor to Decoratings delicious Donuts that delight our customers! Start time will at 5AM to 12PM. In this energetic role, you will support daily bakery operations, glaze and decorate donuts, assist with food preparation, and ensure our products are presented beautifully and handled with the utmost food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Start time will at 5AM to 12PM
- Assist in preparing donuts and other food preparation following established recipes and quality standards.
- Decorate donuts using our decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal.
- Package baked items efficiently and attractively for retail display or customer take-away.
- Support food production processes by measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and monitoring baking times to ensure consistency.
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices, maintaining cleanliness in workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist with catering orders or special event preparations as needed, supporting the overall culinary operation.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or baking is highly desirable; pastry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with decorating techniques and food handling safety standards.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knife skills for precise cutting and ingredient preparation.
- Knowledge of baking processes, culinary techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
