What You'll Do
As a Teacher's Aide, you'll help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can thrive.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervise and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Support teachers with daily classroom routines and learning experiences.
- Help children develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
- Encourage creativity through art, music, games, outdoor play, and hands-on learning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Use positive guidance and encouragement to promote appropriate behavior.
- Assist with meals, snacks, transitions, and daily care routines.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Administer First Aid when necessary and document incidents appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership to provide exceptional care for every child.

Qualifications
- Previous childcare or preschool experience is preferred but not required.
- High School students are encouraged to apply for our High School Teacher's Aide positions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviors using positive guidance.
- A genuine passion for educating and caring for children.
- Must meet Minnesota childcare employment requirements.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and actively engaging with children while sitting on the floor, playing outdoors, and participating in classroom activities.
