Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently.
This role involves delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction from greeting to farewell. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.
Food prep experience is a big advantage, otherwise we are able to train certain tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Address guest inquiries promptly, ensuring a positive guest relation experience
- Follow all sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing processes
- Cooking, Baking or general Food prep experience.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
