Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust automated systems for optimal performance.
- Carry out welding tasks and mechanical repairs, including residential painting and facilities maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist with manufacturing facility upkeep, ensuring safety standards are met and equipment is functioning properly.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments or clients, delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, PLC programming, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics with ease; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Strong supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance or facilities setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and teamwork collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with residential painting or general facilities upkeep is desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using appropriate tools; electrical experience is essential.
