About the Role
INTECON is seeking Business Process Analysts / Technical Writers to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Staff Action Support Services contract. These positions support the Army National Guard Chief of Staff Office and Secretary of the General Staff (SGS) with task management, technical editing, and business process documentation. The successful candidate will review, revise, and route ARNG correspondence in the Electronic Tasking System, manage the official Temple Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC) daily announcements process, maintain the master copy of ARNG Memorandum 25-52, and develop the standard operating procedures and training products that support the SGS mission.
Responsibilities
- Review, revise, rewrite, and edit ARNG correspondence for grammar, format, and compliance with Army writing standards
- Identify, accept, and route new ETS tasks immediately upon assignment; monitor task progress and coordinate with directorate Workflow Managers
- Assess documents for clarity, readability, grammar, regulatory standards, and content flow using the Microsoft Word track changes feature, and communicate findings within established timelines
- Monitor the organization's global network for proposed TARC announcements; examine, edit, and coordinate proposed announcements with the OPR
- Release and disseminate official TARC announcements daily, with all proposed daily announcements prepared for release by 1500
- Retain and account for the master copy of ARNG Memorandum 25-52; assist in preparing and updating the master copy; publish through the GKN portal
- Review and conduct research to verify regulatory accuracy; attend working groups and draft portions of the ARNG SGS standard operating procedure; proofread for proper grammar and regulatory accuracy
- Support SGS Action Officer training, including review of official training slides and construction of slides and updates for the Executive Level Writing course
- Provide editorial support to the Chief of Staff's organizational and clerical development initiatives; monitor and assist with management of the SGS GKN webpage
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience in performing requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing, demonstrated by positions held in those career fields
- Educational background in Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, Information Science, or Management
- Experience editing to Army writing standards (for example, AR 25-50)
- Experience with electronic task management systems (ETS, TMT, ETMS2)
- GKN or SharePoint content management experience
- ARNG, NGB, or Army staff experience
