Description: CAD Designer
Job Purpose: Create shop drawings, understanding, interpreting, and providing technical information;
Job Duties:
· Create shop drawings, maintain and update stock item drawings using primarily Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
· Maintain and improve quality results by following standards while recommending improved policies and procedures
· Accomplishes department and organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job tasks.
· Must be dependable, a self-starter and be positive with a desire to build a career with a team oriented culture.
· Able and willing to learn multiple computer programs for various department tasks
Skills/Qualifications: Experience/trainingwith Autodesk Inventor (and/or Solidworks) and AutoCAD is a must. Prefer 2-year degree or relevant experience. Communication and customer service; building relationships; computer skills suitable for Internet, E-mail, MS Office including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; basic math skills.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
Position is Salary and pay is DOE
