We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Morning Floater to join our early childhood education team! Duties
- Assist in opening classrooms and transitioning children into their classroom
- Support lead teachers with classroom management, behavior guidance, and child engagement
- Supervise children during morning activities, ensuring safety and positive interactions
- Help with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines for toddlers
- Implement age-appropriate developmental activities aligned with childhood development principles
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or nannying roles preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and childhood development stages
- Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with an energetic and positive approach
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and team members
