Job Description: Emergency Room (ER) Registered NurseJob Summary & Core Responsibilities
Seeking dynamic, quick-thinking Emergency Room RNs capable of multi-tasking and delivering care to patients ranging from minor injuries to critical illnesses in a fast-paced environment.
- Patient Assessment: Triage, assess, and treat patients of all age demographics.
- Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans, identify expected clinical outcomes, and prioritize case needs continually.
- Collaboration: Coordinate care seamlessly with physicians and multi-disciplinary hospital departments.
- Discharge Coordination: Provide thorough follow-up care instructions and necessary patient referrals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of recent ER Acute Care experience (must be within the last year). Strong ICU or PCU backgrounds may be considered.
- Licensure: Active Florida RN License, a valid Compact/Multistate license, or the ability to obtain licensure prior to the official start date.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Certifications:
- BLS: Required prior to employment start date.
- ACLS: Required within 90 days of hire.
- PALS: Required within 90 days of hire.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI): Required within 90 days of hire.
