Front Desk Lead — Bri's Dance Place
You'll be the first person families meet when they walk in. Whether they enroll often comes down to that first conversation — how well you read the room, answer the question behind the question, and help them see this is the right place for their kid. We need someone who can close enrollments without being pushy, solve problems on the spot, and run the front of house without needing step-by-step direction.
What the job actually is:
- Own enrollment conversations. Families should leave feeling like this studio gets them, even if they're just asking about pricing. You'll handle inquiries, tours, and objections in real time, and turn interest into registrations.
- Solve problems without escalating everything. A parent shows up for the wrong class time, a payment didn't go through, someone's frustrated about a policy — you handle it. We need judgment, not a rulebook.
- Keep the front desk running smoothly. Manage class registrations and payments using our studio software (we'll train you), keep the lobby welcoming and organized, and make sure transitions between classes don't turn into chaos.
- Be the glue between families and instructors. You'll coordinate schedules, communicate changes, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. If something's about to go sideways, you catch it early.
What we're looking for:
- Strong people skills and the ability to read a room — you know when someone needs more information and when they're ready to sign up.
- Sales instinct without being salesy — you can close an enrollment because you helped someone make a good decision, not because you pressured them.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability — you don't need to be told what to do in every situation. You figure it out.
- Comfortable with technology (we use studio management software, but we'll train you on ours).
- Passion for what we do here — leading families to their destiny through dance.
What you get:
- Pay up to $25, depending on experience.
- Flexible scheduling based on studio needs.
- A small, tight team that cares about what we're building here.
