Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Staff and Preschool Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, childcare and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting the overall development of each child in our care.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of children, including those with special education requirements.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques.
- Provide individualized support for children requiring early intervention or additional assistance.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages childhood development and exploration.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Conduct standardized testing as required to assess children's learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience through teamwork and shared resources.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and best practices in childcare.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
- Strong background in early childhood education with knowledge of developmental milestones.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
