Employment Litigation Associate
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
Salary Range: $125,000 – $185,000 + bonus
Our client, a nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Southern California team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a broad range of employment matters within a collaborative, trial-focused environment, with a clear growth track for long-term advancement .
What You’ll Work On:
- Defending employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage & hour disputes
- Managing cases from inception through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings
- Handling written discovery and depositions
- Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Communicating directly with clients and providing strategic case updates
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience handling employment litigation matters
- Strong discovery experience, including drafting responses and evidentiary objections
- Excellent writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client communication and case management skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar admission

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range of $125,000 – $185,000 + performance-based bonus
