Our mission has always been to lead the industry as a specialty contractor providing asbestos removal, lead abatement, mold remediation and other services.
We are growing and we are hiring new team members to join our company! We are currently seeking eager, certified Abatement Workers for our Abatement division.
Job Duties
- Removal of asbestos from ceilings, walls, beams, boilers, and other structures.
- Assembly/Dismantling of scaffolding and sealing off of work area
- Positioning of mobile decontamination unit or portable showers at entrance of work area
- Building of connecting walkway between mobile unit or portable showers and work area
- Positioning of portable air evacuation and filtration system inside work area
- Spraying of chemical solution over asbestos covered surfaces
- Removal and disposal of asbestos
- Effectively communicate with project managers and supervisors
- Comply with company policy, safety policies, and procedural guidelines
- Follow hazardous waste handling guidelines
Requirements
- Must have current Asbestos Worker certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professionally dressed and groomed
- Able to work in non-conventional environments (outdoor work conditions, buildings, roof tops, duct work, scaffolding, etc.)
- Residential & Commercial work experience
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs. with attention to detail and surroundings
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Nights/Weekends)
- A positive, self-starter that can work with little or no supervision
- Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
- Must have a clean driving record with access to a reliable vehicle
Pay-Scale: $26 - $40/HR | Private & Public Sector (prevailing wage) work available
