NNE is seeking a Land Analyst for its Charleston, WV office. This contract position plays a key role in supporting the lifecycle management of land records, division order maintenance, landowner relations, and asset reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in the natural gas industry and a land administration background with a strong attention to detail.
This is a contract (1099) position. The selected candidate will be engaged as an independent contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Land Administration team in the life cycle of land records management, including document intake, recordation, organization, and contractual adherence.
- Perform document processing, including preparation, execution, tracking, and submission for recordation.
- Support landowner relations, including responding to inquiries and coordinating documentation as needed.
- Perform data entry and quality control in land systems and spreadsheets.
- Manage projects relating to the control and tracking of company assets and contracts.
- Utilize Integra, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
- Assist with internal coordination between land, legal, accounting, and operations teams as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the natural gas or energy industry is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in land administration, land records, or title support.
- Familiarity with land documentation and recording processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience with Integra Energy Management System.
Preferred Certifications & Professional Memberships
- Notary Public (may be obtained after hire if required).
- Membership in NALTA (National Association of Lease and Title Analysts) .
- Membership in AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen).
