- Previous inpatient pharmacy experience (1 year in acute care setting)
- Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution
- Current and valid pharmacy license in the State of New Mexico within 60 days.
- Sterile Compounding Certification within 6 months.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Adherence to HCMC policies surrounding patient safety, infection control, and HIPAA.
- Skill in oral and written communication in dealing with a variety of individuals.
- Patient-focused and adaptable to the dynamic needs of a rural healthcare setting. A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish languages.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree from an ACPE-Accredited Institution.
- PGY-1 or Board Certification
- Experience or knowledge of 340B program
- NM Pharmacist Clinician License
