DeLuke Dermatology is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy, patient-focused dermatology practice. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Dermatology experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Room and prepare patients for their appointments
- Scribe for providers during patient visits
- Assist with dermatologic procedures, including administering local anesthetic, wound care, and patient education
- Communicate pathology and biopsy results to patients
- Answer patient phone calls and address clinical questions
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Assist with inventory and stocking of clinical supplies
- Work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Current New York State LPN license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Dermatology or surgical experience is a plus
