Neptune Boat Lifts is looking for a dependable and safety-focused candidate to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling and MIG welding fabricated metal components, performing quality checks, grinding and finishing materials, and preparing completed products for shipment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow work orders and safety procedures, and willing to learn welding equipment settings and processes.

Duties
- Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparing to weld
- Weld metal parts together through mig welding
- Quality control
- Grinding of materials
- Organize finished product
- Load pallets with finished products
- Learn the settings on the welding machine
- Count parts and complete work orders
- Keep shop clean
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Working cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture
- Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
- Other Duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Ability to learn and be trained
- Must be able to read a Tape Measure
- Must be able to identify all parts used in the department
- Must have working knowledge and understanding of work instructions
- Motivated and reliable aluminum welders - Certification not necessary
Qualifications
- Must have experience in aluminum mig welding (1 year preferred)
- Must have high attention to detail and organized in their approach
- Must be able to lift up to 40 to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to perform frequent horizontal reaching, occasional bending and/or squatting and walking on concrete floors

Regular shift hours are Monday-Thursday 6am- 4:30pm (4-10's). This position is eligible for all company benefits 1st of the month after hire and compensation is based on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
