LawMates is a growing legal recruiting and staffing firm. We place talent across law firms of every size and corporate legal departments, from attorneys to paralegals and support staff. We're looking for a commission-based recruiter to work the candidate side of our active searches. You won't need to chase clients or build a book. We bring the job orders and a steady pipeline of open legal roles. You bring the sourcing.
This is a 1099, commission-only role with real earning potential and a clear path to full-time for someone who produces and wants to grow with us.
Please note this is commission-only and you must have your own sourcing tools. Only apply if both of those work for you.
What you'll do
- Source, screen, and submit qualified candidates against our active legal searches
- Manage candidates through the process and keep them engaged
- Work a steady stream of open roles across firms and legal departments
- Communicate clearly and follow through
What you need
- Your own sourcing stack such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and sourcing software. We don't provide or pay for tools.
- Proven recruiting experience, legal recruiting strongly preferred
- The ability to source and fill independently against a job order
- Reliable and committed, looking to grow with us rather than pass through
Compensation
- Commission on every successful placement, starting at 30%
- Clear path to a full-time role for a strong performer
Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
