Duties
- Lead and supervise the shift team to ensure efficient food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, presentation, and safety guidelines.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions and food orders accurately.
- Manage customer orders through food handling, serving, and cashiering duties while providing friendly, attentive service.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols, food safety regulations, and proper kitchen equipment operation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales performance while delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Oversee cash register operations including processing cash transactions and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with strong knowledge of food safety management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales and order management.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counting.
- Leadership qualities to motivate team members and ensure smooth shift operations in a fast-paced setting.
