Prior experience necessary .Minimum 1 year experience , licensed technician preferred.
We are looking for a fully trained technician to join our team
- Provides compassionate care to patients.
- Performs all duties in accordance with hospital medical policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains the exam rooms and treatment areas.
- Records observations on patients.
- Comfortable working in high energy fast paced environment.
- Gives injections and administers oral medications in accordance with hospital policy.
- Skilled at blood draw and intravenous catheters .
- Assists in restraining pets safely and humanely.
- Performs clinical laboratory procedures such as fecal exams, heartworm checks, and urinalysis; Can run in house blood machine and maintains file of lab test results and ensures that test results are recorded in patient records.
- Takes radiographs .
- Assists other staff members as required.
- Understands and carries out oral and written directions.
- Maintains positive, cooperative relationships with other employees.
- Anesthesia monitoring, surgical and dental experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
