Salon Hairapy, a growing multicultural salon in Malden, Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Lead Stylist to join our team. Leadership Responsibilities
As a Lead Stylist, you will:
- Mentor junior stylists and assistants
- Help maintain salon standards and professionalism
- Build and retain a loyal clientele
- Assist with service quality control
- Promote salon retail products and services
- Support salon events, education programs, and community outreach
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon
- Help create a positive and supportive team culture
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Cosmetology License
- Minimum 3 years behind-the-chair experience
- Strong knowledge of textured and multicultural hair care
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong social media presence is a plus
- Existing clientele preferred but not required
