Medrina is a physician-owned, national healthcare organization with over 15 years of experience providing medical care services in Skilled Nursing Facilities and post-acute care settings nationwide. We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO), Family Medicine Physician, or Geriatric Physician to join our growing team in Portland, ME.

Providers work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams caring for adult and geriatric patients, managing chronic diseases, acute medical conditions, post-hospital transitions, medication management, and complex comorbidities in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
Position Highlights

- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting

- No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities

- Proven income potential of $350,000+ annually
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary and ongoing medical care to adult and geriatric patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, COPD, and dementia
- Perform new patient admissions, routine follow-up visits, and discharge evaluations
- Review labs, diagnostic testing, and medication regimens
- Coordinate care with nursing staff, specialists, therapists, and facility leadership
- Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation
- Support quality care initiatives and the reduction of hospital readmissions
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- An active Maine medical license or the ability to obtain one
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Experience in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospital Medicine, Post-Acute Care, or Long-Term Care preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
