Project Engineer Overview
Cache Valley Electric is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams, you will play a key role in managing project documentation, coordinating project activities, and helping drive projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project document control throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Manage project logs, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required.
- Coordinate with field personnel and supervision to provide necessary project documentation, quality standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular jobsite walks to monitor project progress, schedule adherence, coordination, safety, and quality.
- Coordinate with VDC, BIM, and Prefabrication teams to support project execution.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist in resolving project-related challenges through effective problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding project status, updates, and action items.
- Support project closeout activities and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project and company objectives.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Project Engineer experience in commercial construction required.
- Experience supporting hyperscale, mission-critical, or data center construction projects is highly preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Full-time onsite position located in Utah; candidates must reside in the area or be willing to relocate.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
