About the Role
A warm and welcoming family in Scarsdale, NY, recently relocated from Brooklyn, is seeking a professional and experienced part-time nanny to provide consistent, nurturing care for their two young children. This position will support the children through a summer of transition, followed by a long-term after-school schedule in the fall. Responsibilities include school and camp pickups, preparing snacks and simple meals, planning creative and age-appropriate activities, and helping the children feel safe, engaged, and supported as they adjust to their new home and routine.
What You Will Do
- School and camp pickups
- Prepare snacks and simple meals
- Plan creative, age-appropriate activities
- Provide light household support (children's laundry, tidying play areas)
- Support two children through a significant home/community transition with warmth and consistency
Schedule and Compensation
- Part-time, Monday–Friday, approx. 2:00pm–5:00pm
- Shifting into long-term after-school coverage in the fall
- $30–35/hour
- Long-term placement strongly preferred

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional childcare experience
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification for infants and children
- Excellent references from previous employers
- Clear background check
- Strong communication skills in English
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with young children across a small age range
- Reliable transportation (vehicle provided by the family)
