JENNMAR Services is currently seeking highly dynamic individuals for our Clearfield Utah Manufacturing Plant. Our Employee manually operates the roll form machine, press machine and header machine as per manufacturing specifications to form a finished channel, mat, plate, rebar bolt or cable bolt onto specified raw steel stock meeting ASTM F-432 Standards. Employee operates overhead crane to load raw steel stock into roll form machine. Employee performs quality inspection of finished product following required inspection procedures. Employee manually stacks and bundles finished product for storage/shipping. Employee performs light maintenance and machine setup actions during all phases of manufacturing to produce required, specified results. Employee performs cleanup/housekeeping actions as required. Forklift operating skill a plus.
Basic Job Duties of the machine Operator:
- Performs a safety evaluation of assigned work station and surrounding area and a daily safety checklist inspection of machine/equipment prior to operation.
- Performs light maintenance and machine setup actions as required per customer order specification and ASTM F-432 Standards.
- Operates overhead crane per standard operating and safety procedures to load raw steel material into roll form machine.
- Manually operates the roll form, header, and press machine's per standard operating and safety procedures to form a finished channel or mat onto specified raw steel material stock meeting ASTM F-432 Standards
- Performs quality assurance monitoring of finished steel product to ensure adherence to customer order specification(s) and ASTM F-432 Standards.
- Stacks and bundle finished product for storage/shipping.
- Performs machine/equipment, work station, and surrounding area cleanup/housekeeping tasks as required
Requirements of the Roll Form Operator:
- Job performance demands constant application of the following physical requirements: use of hands.
- Job performance demands frequent application of the following physical requirements: lifting (Avg. 20 lbs), standing, reaching, near/far vision, pulling, bending, twisting, foot controls, multiple limb coordination.
- Job performance demands occasional application of the following physical requirements: lifting (Max. 65 lbs), carrying, walking, sitting, overhead reach/lift, pushing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, fine manipulation, climbing, balancing, close visual acuity, upper limb coordination.
Schedule of the General Labor Position
- 8:00 – 5:00 M-F
- 6:00 - 1:00 night shift M-F
Compensation of the General Labor Position
- $21 per hour
