MedOp Solutions is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) to provide operational and clinical leadership within a dynamic acute care setting. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned registered nurse with strong supervisory experience who is passionate about mentoring staff, coordinating patient care, and driving clinical excellence.
As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, coordinate staffing and scheduling, provide education, serve as Charge RN when needed, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and satisfaction are consistently achieved.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as the operational leader for their assigned unit, partnering with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow, quality outcomes, and staff engagement.

- Coordinate daily clinical operations within the assigned department
- Lead and support nursing staff while promoting evidence-based practice
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety initiatives
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow management
- Serve as Charge RN as operational needs require
- Provide education, mentoring, and professional development for nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote exceptional patient experience and quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and operational records
- Participate in performance improvement and departmental initiatives
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience
- Current certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- Successful completion of the facility's EKG competency examination with a minimum score of 80% (required at submission)
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Standard acute care clinical equipment
- Staffing and scheduling systems
- Full-time assignment
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call responsibilities
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No floating required
- Credentials due Thursday prior to the start date
- Direct Reports Managed: 1–5 team members
- Indirect Reports Managed: 1–10 team members
