Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This critical role oversees the entire accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, is highly proficient in QuickBooks, and brings hands-on experience in managing complete bookkeeping functions—from transaction entry through financial statement preparation. Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle using QuickBooks
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and monthly account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of all financial data.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, collections, and vendor relationship management.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Reports, Budgets, and EBITDA calculations.
- Oversee ADP payroll processing and related tax filings; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with tax preparation and maintain organized records for audits, reviews, or financial inspections.
- Provide clear explanations of financial information to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in an accounting role with full-cycle responsibility.
- Expert-level QuickBooks experience required (Online and/or Desktop).
- Proficiency with accounting tools.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management.
- Demonstrated experience with bank and account reconciliation, journal entries, and financial report preparation.
- Solid knowledge of AP/AR processes, payroll administration, and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial team members.
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
