The Therapy Technician’s role will be to work under the direction of the Clinical Manager and additional clinical staff to ensure clinical outcomes are being met and to support a phenomenal patient experience. The Therapy Technician's goal is to maintain a proactive, productive, and skilled clinic that provides quality care to the public with no delay in its services.
- Assist clinical staff in rehabilitation treatments and exercise progression.
- Assist the physical therapists with each patient’s plan of care.
- Gather pertinent information from the patient’s visit, assist with documentation in the EMR system under the direction of the licensed clinical staff, and partner with the therapists to deliver the most efficient visit possible.
- Assist in administration of specialty programs.
- Help maintain an efficient and effective clinical flow.
- Assisting with sanitization and laundry duties.
- Transporting patients to and from treatment areas.
- Training other therapy technicians as needed.
- Professional communication with patients and coworkers.
- Ability to multitask and efficiently transition between tasks.
- Basic math abilities.
- Problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of internet-based software.
- Day shift; Monday to Friday
- 1 year of therapy tech experience (preferred, not required)
- High School Diploma or higher
