Responsibilities
- Facilitate the timely flow of patients through the office.
- Efficiently and accurately conduct all diagnostic testing.
- Document testing in the electronic medical record.
- Proficient performance of the following:
- Visual Field Testing (Automated Perimetry)
- Pachymetry
- OCT
- Corneal Hysteresis
- Corneal Topography
- Pentacam
- Cell Count
- Slit Lamp Photography
- A/B Scan Biometry
- OPD
- Fundus Photography
Requirements
- Prior experience in ophthalmology or a related medical field with proficiency in optical testing and diagnostic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to eye health and ophthalmic diagnostics.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and data management.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse populations, including pediatrics.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and confidentiality protocols within a healthcare setting.
- Experience with medical billing, coding, or retail sales is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
