Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Housekeeper to provide exceptional care for children and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and developmental needs are met.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary requirements, incorporating meal planning and preparation skills.
- Assist with preschool activities, educational play, and age-appropriate learning experiences to foster growth and curiosity.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care to promote inclusion and comfort.
- Maintain household cleanliness through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning bedrooms, play areas, kitchens, and bathrooms to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage personal transportation needs for children, including school runs or appointments, ensuring punctuality and safety.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, demonstrating readiness to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Engage in caregiving duties that promote emotional well-being, including comforting children during transitions or challenging moments.
- Collaborate with parents to create consistent routines that support children's health and happiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, or daycare assistance.
- Demonstrated experience caring for multiple children simultaneously or working with infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, including infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities.
- Certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations; ongoing training preferred.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Strong cleaning skills for residential housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy home environment.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's nutritional needs.
- Reliable personal transportation assistance for school pickups or outings.
- Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children and parents alike.
