American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long Term Care/SNF position at a 26-bed facility in North Dakota, requiring LTC experience and a ND or compact RN license.

Post-acute long term care (LTC/SNF) setting with 26 beds
-
Patient population includes residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
-
Nurse-to-resident ratios are 1:10 on days and 1:19 on nights
-
Primary responsibilities include charge nurse duties, medication administration, and wound care
-
No IVs, titratable drips, or telemetry monitoring on this unit
-
Oxygen therapy via concentrators and portable concentrators is used
-
Pharmacy is located off-site
-
Charting is done in MatrixCare (Matrix); experience preferred
-
12-hour day shifts, 7am–7pm
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Every other major holiday required
-
No on-call or standby requirements
-
No floating requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Active ND or compact (NLC) RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted

Current BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

LTC experience required

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

RN functions as charge nurse, passing medications and performing wound care
-
Physician availability after hours is by phone on-call only; no on-site supervisors beyond the DON
-
Supportive services include PT (as needed) and a social worker designee; no rehab beds on this unit

No RT on-site
-
No set scrub color requirement; attire must be clean and presentable
-
Unit-specific orientation is 2–3 shifts
-
Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
-
RTO of 7 days or fewer per 13-week contract must be requested upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
-
