Operations Dispatcher

Compass Resorts is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Dispatcher to oversee the daily coordination of maintenance operations across our vacation rental properties.
This position serves as the central communication hub for maintenance requests, technician scheduling, vendor coordination, and work order management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is comfortable managing priorities while ensuring excellent internal and external hospitality.
Position Overview
As the Operations Dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving, prioritizing, scheduling, and tracking maintenance requests across our portfolio of properties. You will work closely with Maintenance Technicians, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Property Managers, and outside vendors to ensure maintenance issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.
This is primarily an office-based operations role focused on coordination, communication, scheduling, and administrative support rather than hands-on maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch maintenance work orders
- Coordinate daily technician schedules and route assignments
- Monitor work order progress and ensure timely completion
- Communicate with internal departments regarding maintenance status updates
- Coordinate vendor scheduling and service appointments
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work
- Monitor response times and identify workflow improvement opportunities
- Support preventative maintenance scheduling and tracking
- Ensure all maintenance requests are documented and properly closed out
- Provide professional hospitality to owners, guests, vendors, and team members
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a highly organized operations professional who demonstrates:
- Strong scheduling, dispatching, or coordination experience
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication abilities
- Experience working with maintenance software, dispatch systems, or property management platforms
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
- Professional demeanor and strong accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Dispatch, service coordination, facilities coordination, or property management experience
- Hospitality, hotel, resort, vacation rental, or maintenance operations experience
- Experience working with maintenance ticketing or work-order management systems
