Golden Years Adult Day Care Center is looking for a Massage Therapist, to treat injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic massage. They help these patients relax, recover, and improve for daily working and living.
Duties:
- Provide professional massage therapy services to patients, being patient, passionate and devoted to the elder population, ensuring a comfortable, clean, and relaxing environment.
- Help patients do therapeutic activities, such as stretches and other exercises.
- Prepare treatment areas, such as setting up therapy equipment (hot packs, paraffin treatment) and cleaning treatment areas and equipment.
- Monitor activities to make sure patients are doing them correctly.
- They may assist patients with moving to and from treatment areas.
Requirements:
- Massage therapy license
- General massage therapist experience
- CPR certification
- TB clearance report
- Vaccination/booster mandatory
Expected hours: 8:00am-1:00pm M-F
Pay: Based on Experience
